Fill in the relevant information: select the United States as the region; the email should be one that has not registered an Apple account before, and the phone number should be valid and in use, as it will be used to receive the verification code. After filling everything out, click continue.

You will receive a 6-digit verification code via email and SMS; enter the code as prompted, and your overseas Apple ID will be successfully registered.
Step 2: Use the overseas Apple ID to download the OKX APP

KYC certification
Before buying/selling currency, three personal information settings are required: KYC certification, binding phone number, and adding payment methods.

After logging in, click the personal center icon in the upper left corner—[Profile and Settings]—[Personal Information]—[Identity Verification] to enter the identity verification page. If you have not completed the verification, please click [Verify Now]; you will need to upload a photo of your ID, such as the front and back of your ID card, and complete the document upload and real-person verification as prompted.
Note: Real-person verification and video verification must be completed on the App.
2. Bind phone number
Open the OKX APP homepage, click the icon in the upper left corner—[Security Settings]—[Phone Verification], and complete the phone number binding as prompted.
Note: If you registered using a mobile phone, you do not need to bind the phone number again; you can bind your email using the same steps.
3. Add payment methods
New users registering on OKX must add payment methods for selling currency withdrawals, i.e., binding a bank card/Alipay/WeChat.
Open the OKX APP homepage, click [Buy Currency]—[Quick Area]—click the [More] icon in the upper right corner—[Payment Methods]—[Add Payment Method], and select the corresponding bank card/Alipay/WeChat Pay to set it up.
How to buy currency on OKX
(1). Open and log in to the OKX App, go to the “Buy Currency” page, choose C2C buy currency or quick buy currency; generally, you buy USDT through C2C or from familiar friends, as USDT is a stablecoin, and many virtual currencies use USDT as a medium. Taking buying BTC as an example:
Step 1: Download the latest version of the OKX APP from our site, click the buy currency button on the homepage, choose C2C buy currency or quick buy currency; here we take quick buy and sell as an example.
On-chain deposit means someone wants to transfer their coins to you; you can click to get the corresponding coin address, which needs to be confirmed with the other party. Generally, new friends can directly buy currency.
Step 2: The coin you want to buy is BTC; enter the amount you want to purchase. Click the button as shown in the image to switch to buying by coin quantity.
C2C allows you to choose your purchase; generally, buyers do not have much problem, while the person receiving payment ensures your funds' safety.

Select the amount you want to purchase.
Step 3: After clicking buy, choose your preferred payment method, such as Alipay; after confirming, the order will be generated, click next, and the page will display the seller's payment method. Follow the seller's payment information for offline payment, then click “I have completed the transfer.”
Once the seller confirms receipt and releases the coins, you have successfully purchased a digital asset; you can click the “View Funds” button to check your assets.

How to sell currency on OKX
Generally, you first convert virtual currency into USDT and trade through C2C (user-to-user).

Find C2C trading; click to enter, and you will see quick trading and bulk buying and selling; fill in the purchase and sale as required.

On the right side of the trading coin pair page, you can view information such as the price change, transaction price, and transaction volume of the trading coin pair. The far right shows the current coin pair's K-line chart, where you can adjust various parameters. The middle has [Order Book] and [Latest Transactions] pages, where you can see the buy and sell orders; the upper red area is the sell side, and the lower green area is the buy side.
- Viewing orders
On the lower right side of the coin pair trading page, you can view [Assets/Positions/Historical Positions/Current Orders/Historical Orders]. Click [Current Orders] (i.e., orders that have not been executed) and [Historical Orders] (i.e., orders that have been executed and canceled) to see details such as your order time, coin pair, and transaction volume.
